One of the trickiest challenges we've long struggled with at Sidepodcast HQ, is the promotion of feature length podcasts in the social media era. With shows averaging an hour in length and no logical means of splitting them up, audio remains a tricky medium to generate buzz around.

Sites such as Souncloud have recently enabled full-length shows to be embedded within the likes of Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook, but motivating a potential listener to hit play on a sixty minute show isn't easy. With that in mind, here's something new. Taking a cue from the recent lyric video craze, we made a super-short visual podcast promo.

Featuring a quote from the most recent Aside with Joe show, discussing the potential of Alexander Rossi, the video is short, snappy and sharable - the kind of thing that hopefully makes F1 fans want to hear more.
