Freed from the shackles of McLaren's oh-so-corporate public relations machine, Lewis Hamilton popped up on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway television show in the UK this evening.

Acting as both compère for the night and, of all things, the designated golf-buggy getaway driver, the Mercedes driver appeared to be making the most of his new found freedom.

Hamilton ended the show dancing alongside television personality Simon Cowell, as popstar Michael Bublé brought the house down with his karaoke version of Let's Get Ready to Rhumble.
