F1Minute gets a new audio player - A refreshed look for your sixty second news updates

We've been working on a new audio player for F1Minute for a few months now, and finally it's ready to roll:

Built using HTML5 technologies, the player features a quick selection waveform window (press play and then choose a position for the playhead) and a 'slow' button for listening to audio at a reduced speed. The expected play/pause and volume buttons are present too.

So far we've tested in Safari and Chrome on Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as the iPhone/iPad/Android devices. We're aware of an issue preventing playback on IE9 and that'll be fixed soon. Firefox and Opera users will see the older flash-based player, due to those browsers inability to play MP3 files. The flash-based player looks like this:

Also note that due to platform limitations, the volume control is unavailable on the iPhone and iPad. Use the hardware buttons on the side of the device to adjust the audio volume.
