F1 appreciation society - Everybody was talking about Alonso and Vettel

Towards the end of the British Grand Prix, a fantastic battle emerged between Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso, as the two champions went head to head for the same piece of tarmac, corner after corner, lap after lap. It was brilliant viewing, particularly if you muted their whiny radio traffic, and it wasn't just those of us watching at home that enjoyed. Chris noted at the time that five rival teams were paying attention and loving what they were seeing - which is how you know that it really was THAT good.

The battle continued for several laps, but in the end it was Sebastian Vettel who found his way past the Ferrari and took the position. Vettel finished the race in fifth place, with Alonso settling for sixth.
