Character Cup 2010 - How the voting unfolded for another year of driver polling

The second incarnation of the Character Cup started in July 2010. This time, 24 drivers will be involved in the process, splitting the draw into three. The finalists from 2009, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel, were ‘seeded’ and placed at opposite ends of the draw. With the way the draw is structured, the final will consist of three drivers instead of the usual two.

Contenders

All 24 drivers from the 12 teams in the 2010 F1 season. Despite Sakon Yamamoto racing on a regular basis for Hispania, the two original drivers of Bruno Senna and Karun Chandhok will perform in the character cup.

The result intially had Alguesuari winning by 3 votes. However after suspicious voting patterns, 35 votes were removed from his total handing Senna the win.
