The BBC have taken a unique approach to their opening montage for this year's F1 television coverage. Nestled amongst a predictable selection of archive footage and set to the familiar strains of Fleetwood Mac's The Chain, are unique CGI compositions which offer a fresh take on some classic Grand Prix incidents.

From the close up of Nigel Mansell's tyre delamination in Adelaide '86, to the satellite view of Romain Grosjean launching his Lotus at Fernando Alonso's head in Spa last year, these brand new motion graphics take fan to places never before possible.
