Daniel Ricciardo might have had a good week out on track, finishing the German Grand Prix on the podium, but on the rankings table, things haven't gone so well. The Australian has lost his lead and dropped way back. On the flip side, Nico Rosberg didn't have the best weekend for his home race, but has inherited the lead of the rankings chart just in time for the summer break!

Things might go quiet now, as drivers head off for their holidays, but don't forget you can always send me pointsworthy items for consideration at a future date!

• +1 Nico Rosberg: Getting some lessons in Snapchat and selfies. I could use some of those!
• +2 Fernando Alonso: Joining in the spirit of birthday celebrations and wearing a ridiculous party hat.
• +1 Valtteri Bottas: Getting in on the summer break action, looks like Bottas is prepping for a lovely and relaxing break.
