Two new confirmations - Spyker and BMW-Sauber announce new driver signings

Published by Christine

The second driver at Spyker Formula One has been confirmed as Adrian Sutil for the 2007 season. The German is 23 years old and has apparently signed a long-term deal.

Sutil has been in the background, but was only expected to be granted a role as a test driver, however he edged out competition from Tiago Monteiro who was widely expected to get the drive.

He's a relative newcomer in the F1 world, having one the 2006 Japanese Formula Three championship and then headed to Midland for a couple of tests.

Over at BMW-Sauber, they have confirmed that Timo Glock will be their second test driver for 2007.
