Tweets of the Week - It's not us! It wasn't me! - Animals on the track, and returning to the factory

Published by Christine

Testing in Abu Dhabi has dominated the week, with young drivers taking the seats of the more established names and trying to prove they have what it takes to make the step up. The teams did a great job of covering the test via Twitter, and then seemed to take a well deserved break before beginning the ramp up to Brazil. We're heading to the last race of the year this weekend, and the teams are looking forward to it.

2. Williams get used to having new names and faces in the team, in the car, and on the radio.

Pastors' Performance Engineer Andrew gets to rest his voice today after running Valtteri-he's not used to talking on the radio so much!

3. It may just be me, but I sense a little bit of hysterical relief in this tweet.

4. You would think, being a world famous racing driver, you could have your pit crew follow you around everywhere.

Standing in a garage gettin my car tyre changed. Someone hit a curb and destroyed it. It wasn't me! http://t.co/00UvwFY6

5. However, being a world famous racing driver does not mean you get out of learning how to use the washing machine.

@KataHyde Hello darling how do I use the washing machine?! I haven't used it for so long that I cannot remember... Love you!

8. I don't understand the technical words in F1, let alone in weather forecasts as well.

Heavy rain Tues-Weds at #Interlagos, then clearing to the standard convection set-up. Early #F1 forecast for Brazil - http://t.co/b9Sd58e2

9. Plenty of tweets on the Pedro to HRT news, and this is just one of them.

Interesting choice from HRT to take Pedro de la Rosa on board for 2012 - seems fashionable to go with experience over youth currently #F1

10. Oh, good, because I was worried you guys were going to be vague about this.

Just heard some amazing stories from some really amazing people about another amazing person for a feature in a brilliant magazine.
