Tweets of the Week - Change is in the air at Monza - Looking for the logic in team movements

Published by Christine

As all involved in Formula One turn their attention towards Suzuka, and what may potentially be the showdown of this year's driver title battle, there's still time for a moment of downtime between races. This week, there has been talk of Kimi Räikkönen appearing at Williams, some fun demonstrations going on in India, and plenty of movement in team technical departments as well. Here are my top tweets from the past seven days.

1. As mentioned in this week's F1 Debrief show, we're encouraging McLaren to expand on their #swanwatch. A cormorant might be the first step.

Morning! Spotted on MTC's lake earlier today - a lone cormorant. Wonder how he got here? He was spotted fishing earlier...

2. Mercedes make some changes to the team, to bolster their technical department.

Mercedes want to win championships so they hire other teams' rejects. Sound logic that. #F1

3. It doesn't take long for F1 to appear and disappear when race days roll around.

At Monza, very hot weekend for F2 champs. Alex 5th so far. Place looks so different from GP 3 weeks ago, reminds me just how massive F1 is

10. The weather looks like it might be cooperative for once, although put stock in weather forecasts at your peril!

Three days of sunshine at #Suzuka and no origami boats? It really could happen. Early #F1 forecast for the Japanese GP- http://bit.ly/qpK4Ze
