I was thinking they'd gone for coffee - Christine's Rankings, Week 31 // Drivers react to teammate changes, and there are tricky interviews ahead

Published by Christine

This week the F1 world has been bombarded with news of driver changes, with Felipe Massa out at Ferrari and Kimi Räikkönen in - leaving behind him a spare seat at Lotus. There has been plenty of reaction, as well as interviews with the main players, all needing points. There's also room for some talk about food, a bit of a tricky Q&A at Caterham, and meeting a famous face or two. Don't forget you can send in any potential pointsworthy finds either by commenting on this post, or tweeting @f1rankings.

Movements for Week 31

  • +2 Mark Webber: Training for his next gig with a bit of space hopper action!
  • +1 Lewis Hamilton: A corporate gig to visit the Swiss watchmakers, but I mostly love it for bringing the word Schaffhausen to my attention.
  • +2 Fernando Alonso: Lovely tribute to his departing teammate, photos and best wishes.
  • +2 Felipe Massa: Taking the high road and announcing his departure from Ferrari himself, via the social media he's embraced so well!
  • +1 Max Chilton: Meeting David Beckham!
  • +3 Heikki Kovalainen: Excellently handling a slightly awkward interview with a five-year-old in Caterham's latest behind-the-scenes video.
  • +3 Felipe Massa: Being super duper honest about who his hardest teammate has been, particularly the Alonso versus Schumacher discussion.
  • +2 Nico Rosberg: Enjoyed this little chat between Nico and his engineer about radio issues, particularly about the coffee!
  • +1 Romain Grosjean: Romain's favourite thing about Singapore is the noodles!
