Things do change - Christine's Rankings, Week 41 - In which the season comes to an end and our drivers face the future

Published by Christine

As we head into the final week of rankings, Lewis Hamilton has made a sudden surge up the order to be in with a fighting chance at victory once again. It's teammate versus teammate with Button still leading for now. Meanwhile, there are points for getting a bit lost, being a passenger, saying thank you and getting musical. You absolutely must get any stray rankings to me this week, so that we can crown the 2012 champion in seven days time. Exciting!

Movements for Week 41

  • +1 Heikki Kovalainen: Retweeting his grid girl with praise for the US event: "@H_Kovalainen Hi!!! I was your grid girl, it was great meeting you guys!! :)” it was great event well done to everyone!
  • +6 Lewis Hamilton: Showing us a little known side of him in this excellent video about playing the guitar.
  • +2 Felipe Massa: Paying tribute to his dad by wearing his colours on his helmet for the Brazilian race. Even if it does make him look like Schumi in the car!
  • +1 Pedro de la Rosa: Giant finger!
  • +2 Nico Rosberg: Great little video where he proves his worth against a Puma Race Off driver - I can't work out if Nico is a good or bad passenger though.
  • +1 Fernando Alonso: Closing the stock exchange. I don't really get what this is except for clapping a lot, but I know Spongebob has also done it.
  • +1 Jean-Éric Vergne: I quite enjoyed the before and after rain-dance tweets.
  • +2 Jenson Button: Being nice to Hamilton in the qualifying press conference. "As Lewis said, it's great to both be on the front row for his last Grand Prix with the team. The team's in great shape at the moment, it's a pity things have got to change but things do change."
  • +2 Lewis Hamilton: A little tribute to his team, with a thank you on his helmet for the Brazilian GP.
  • +2 Michael Schumacher: Saying thank you to the fans for sharing his passion on his final race in Brazil.
  • +3 Kimi Räikkönen: Providing a bit of chaos in an already chaotic GP, with his blind optimism that the shortcut he remembered would still be there. It wasn't.
