2Vodafone McLaren MercedesLewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton must be feeling pretty good about himself, being the number 2 car on his F1 debut. Lucky fella.

3ING Renault F1 TeamGiancarlo Fisichella
4ING Renault F1 TeamHeikki Kovalainen

Fisichella moves up to be the number one driver for Renault. A nice reward for his hard work, but something tells me that Kovalainen is going to outrace him this year.

NumberTeamDriver
5Scuderia Ferrari MarlboroFelipe Massa
6Scuderia Ferrari MarlboroKimi Räikkönen

The thing about these lists is that I really don't understand the order. I've just had it explained to me, about the lead driver and the highest points and the constructors and everything. To me, Räikkönen is the new Ferrari number 1, because Massa, well, Massa was born to be a supporter.

8Honda Racing F1 TeamRubens Barrichello

As it should be.

9BMW Sauber F1 TeamNick Heidfeld
10BMW Sauber F1 TeamRobert Kubica

I've never really been a fan of Heidfeld but I'm looking forward to seeing Kubica kick his ass.

11Panasonic Toyota RacingRalf Schumacher
12Panasonic Toyota RacingJarno Trulli

Question: Does R Schumacher really need the R anymore now that there is no M?

NumberTeamDriver
14Red Bull RacingDavid Coulthard
15Red Bull RacingMark Webber

Even though they've taken the number 13 out, if I was Coulthard, I would still be thinking - I should be 13 really, is that why I'm so unlucky? I wonder what these two will be like as a team? They're both quite outspoken but do their view coincide?

NumberTeamDriver
16AT&T WilliamsNico Rosberg
17AT&T WilliamsAlex Wurz

Can Rosberg get back his form from the early races of last year? And can Wurz really come back from all his years of testing to rediscover the field?

19Scuderia Toro RossoTBA

Hard to comment on a TBA, but it's almost certain to be Luizzi in one of the seats. The other, formerly occupied by Speed, is harder to call.

20Spyker F1 TeamChristijan Albers
21Spyker F1 TeamTBA

Albers is probably going to be joined by his good back-of-the-field friend Monteiro. I'm also really loving the name Spyker.

22Super Aguri F1 TeamTakuma Sato
23Super Aguri F1 TeamAnthony Davidson

What strikes me about this line up is that it's really, really little. There is photographic evidence that Sato used to stand on a box to have pictures taken with Jenson Button, and Davidson is tiny in real life. They're my favourite miniature F1 team.
