Digging through more than sixty years of Formula 1 history, Christine has hand-picked moments of sporting significance to match each day of the year, and showcased them for your personal reading pleasure.

What event of note or quirky happening occurred on this very day in F1 history? That’ll be the Day has the answers and whether you choose to read from cover-to-cover or pick out select dates and days of interest, I'm sure many of the stories found in the first of this two part series, can offer both casual and seasoned fans something of interest.

Available to purchase directly from Amazon, the book deliberately eschews traditional print media and jumps feet first into the world of electronic books. You will not find it in your local shop, from conception to release this publication has been designed with the digital reader in mind.

The blue print

If you're an F1 fan with an interest in the sport's rich and varied history and you're also someone who either owns a Kindle reading device, or has downloaded one of their free reading apps already, then this book is calling out to you.

Conversely, if you've resisted the pull of eBooks until now, it might be time to have a peek at what the world of electronic reading has to offer. Rather than some half-baked transition from paper to screen, this particular eBook exists solely in the digital domain. It doesn't matter if you have a desktop PC, a mobile phone, or a music player - if you can read this post, the chances are you can read eBooks too. Amazon offers free software for a huge array of devices to get you started.

Here at Sidepodcast, we've long argued that print is dead and if you haven't made the jump to the revolution in paperback publishing already, you are missing out. The ability to carry your entire bookshelf in your pocket somehow feels like something out of Star Trek, but it's obtainable right now and we'd love it if you added Christine's inaugural work to your virtual shelf.

If you have already bought 365 F1 Stories, do let Christine know your thoughts in the comments below, she's already hard at work on part 2 of the series and has a number plans for more of the same in future. We'd love to hear your feedback.

Happy kindling!

Update: We've had a couple of questions regrading international availability. Kindle books can be purchased directly from three Amazon stores, while readers situated in other countries will get redirected accordingly (Austria to Germany, Canada to the US etc). Direct links to country specific sites are as follows:

There are no restrictions relating to purchases outside of the listed territories, it's just a little trickier to figure out.
