Red Bull's championship tally tipped over the 500 points mark this weekend, with an impressive double podium finish. Mercedes were keen to get points over their nearest rivals Ferrari, and they managed to increase the gap to 11 points. Force India also extended the gap between themselves and Sauber, with the latter now almost impossibly far behind.
