Super Aguri setback - The new car fails mandatory FIA crash testing

Published by Christine

Autosport.com is reporting that the Super Aguri team has suffered another setback with the launch of their new car.

The 2007 car, ingeniously named SA07 was supposed to be launched at some point during the next month or so, but it will now have to be pushed back. The car was put through its paces during a mandatory FIA crash test - and failed!

Cars are not allowed to race unless they pass the FIA tests, and so Super Aguri are hurrying back to the drawing board, helped by Honda, to try and sort out the problem.
