Starting grid - Britain 2014 - Maldonado gets excluded, as Caterham fail to qualify

The grid for the British Grand Prix looks just a little different to how we left it after qualifying. Esteban Gutiérrez takes his ten place drop after the Austrian unsafe release, and Max Chilton also drops down due to a gearbox change. However, Pastor Maldonado has the biggest hit, moving to the second from last row of the grid. The Lotus driver was excluded from qualifying after running out of fuel and being unable to provide a sample to the FIA.
He, and the two Caterhams, therefore did not qualify (the green cars being outside the 107% cut off time), but all have been given permission to start by the stewards.

- 10 places. Esteban Gutiérrez - Car 21 was released in an unsafe condition (Austria).
- 5 places. Max Chilton - The gearbox of car 4 has been changed before 6 consecutive events have expired.
- 0 places. Pastor Maldonado - There was an insufficient amount of fuel to provide a 1.0 ltr fuel sample and therefore this is in breach of Article 6.6.2 of the FIA Formula One Technical Regulations. The competitor is, however, allowed to start the race from the back of the grid in front of any cars that failed to set a time within 107% of the fastest time in Q1.
