When is the spring coming? - Christine's Rankings, Week 8 - In which drivers ponder the weather, take holidays, and get photographed

Published by Christine

This past week, drivers have been finishing up their holidays ready to return to work in preparation for the upcoming Chinese Grand Prix. There are points aplenty for those taking part in photoshoots, delving into their own histories, and watching a bit of TV. There are also points off for advertising gone a little bit awry. As ever, keep your suggestions coming, as the boys get back to work in Shanghai.

Movements for Week 8

  • +1 Fernando Alonso: Sifting through 9000 questions from fans for another edition of #askalo!
  • +1 Daniel Ricciardo: Epic jumping!
  • +1 Fernando Alonso: I missed this at the time, Alonso revelling in the grumpy podium ceremony: Today that I'm not in the podium I'm missing a good moment..! I will try not leave them alone again ... ;))) #goodMood
  • +1 Jean-Éric Vergne: This plaintive tweet about the weather speaks to me: When is the spring coming??!! So cold..
  • +1 Max Chilton: What with holidays in Cornwall and time spent watching UK sitcoms, Max is so far refreshingly normal!
  • +1 Valtteri Bottas: Just a little clarification required, and a positive hashtag to go with it.
  • +2 Fernando Alonso: Presumably, if he is as excited as the tweet says, then this is his concentration face.
  • +1 Felipe Massa: Massa keeps leaving me speechless with these tweets. What is going on here?
  • +2 Nico Rosberg: Baby photos! Rosberg had the cars lined up when he was just a kid.
  • -2 Kimi Räikkönen: I feel like this advert could have been funny, but it just misses it. Taps in to his desire not to say much though!
  • +1 Paul di Resta: Taking part in a good-looking, if slightly uncomfortable, photo-shoot.
  • +1 Adrian Sutil: Taking part in a good-looking, if slightly uncomfortable, photo-shoot.
  • -4 Jenson Button: Doing yet more of the cringeworthy shampoo ads. After 'a cup of tea would be amazing' and everything.
