The order of things in this third practice session seemed very mixed up, with moments where Charles Pic was near the top, Pastor Maldonado was leading, and the McLaren drivers were struggling. As the session drew to a close, Sebastian Vettel went fastest, proving nothing has changed that much. Romain Grosjean was the big casualty of the hour, stopping out on track after just two laps, without setting a time. Timo Glock also ground to a halt on track but he managed to complete 16 laps.
