Kimi Räikkönen was out in the first session, along with Heikki Kovalainen, which left Jenson Button to take pole position, just ahead of Sebastian Vettel. Fellow Brawn GP driver Rubens Barrichello was third, with Felipe Massa rounding out the second row for Ferrari.
