Sorry, but I need you!! - Christine's Rankings, Week 6 - In which the etiquette in restaurants is called into question

Published by Christine

It's been another great weekend of racing, and the drivers have managed to be entertaining in their own way - giving me lots of great opportunities to rank them for both good and bad behaviour. This week, we're looking at etiquette when restaurants and technology collide, impromptu musical education, some sweet boyfriend behaviour, and, of course, that conversation with tyres. All that and more in this week's Christine's Rankings.

Movements for Week 6

  • +2 Kamui Kobayashi: Taking some rather fabulous photographs in the Malaysian downpour.
  • -2 Paul di Resta: Faced with an iPad in a restaurant, this is not the correct response! "Just got given an IPad for a menu to order food. Where is the world going!"
  • +1 Fernando Alonso: I am quite enjoying the little photo montages that Alonso is providing from the circuit.
  • +4 Kamui Kobayashi: Having a conversation with his tyres is awesome. One of the best tweets in a long time. "tyre`s say too hot for him..... sorry but i need you!!"
  • +1 Bruno Senna: During the red flag in Malaysia, Senna asked for a white visor!! I feel a song coming on.
  • +2 Valtteri Bottas: Congratulating his girlfriend on live TV for setting a new Finnish swimming record. Cuteness!
  • +3 Fernando Alonso: I like a driver that enjoys some special time with his trophy. Peering through the handle and everything!
  • -2 Heikki Kovalainen: Being mean about Petrov's taste in music, and forcing some Nightwish onto him! Not that there's anything wrong with Nightwish. But loud!
  • +1 Daniel Ricciardo: I missed this tweet from last week. Not really approving of the violence but I love the succinct nature of the tweet: "Housekeeping wanted to service my room at 7:30am! How would housekeeping like a spinning heelkick to the head?"
  • +6 Kimi Räikkönen: I'll admit, I get bored of the ice cream jokes, but handing them out to the media... in Malaysia, that's class.
