A testing post that doesn't really warrant the whole testing "template" that I appear to have put in place. Renault have sent their new R27 out for it's first appearance at Jerez.

Nelsinho Piquet, Renault test driver was behind the wheel, and took to the track in very bad weather. The adverse conditions meant that the testing was cut short and not many laps completed, but any is better than none, right?

This is good and important news, because last year Renault were one of the last to get their car out and about, and were a little behind everyone else. They still ruled the racetrack, so imagine what they can do with plenty of time between testing and racing. Oh, the possibilities. As long as the weather holds.
