Robert Kubica continues to improve in hospital in Italy, and whilst there is nothing major to update on his condition, Renault have been forced to put out a statement confirming that the Pole is still on the path to recovery. Rumours have surfaced recently that he had taken a turn for the worse but the team are quick to assure fans that is not the case.

From the team directly:

The latest update on Robert is that his condition remains positive. He will stay in intensive care for the next couple of days to allow a complete check-up and to avoid another change of department before his final operation.

His good general condition means that the final surgery (on the elbow) is scheduled for Wednesday.

Hopefully speculation will cease on his medical condition as Robert continues to improve. One more surgery to go then the recovery can really start.
