So much sleepy - Christine's Rankings, Week 6 - A bumper week as the nice guys and villains in Formula One are revealed

Published by Christine

This week, all sorts of rumblings kicked off in Malaysia, particularly on track where team orders were the talk of the weekend. On track actions are not eligible for rankings points, so instead, here's a roundup of the other things that drivers have been up to this week.

From running or driving in the cold, to suffering bouts of jet lag, from hanging out with the kids, to behaving like ones on a plane, there's a little bit of everything in this week's rankings.

Movements for Week 6

  • +3 Nico Rosberg: Hanging out with the kids in hospital in Kuala Lumpur.
  • +2 Felipe Massa: Whatever he is singing, it looks loud!! Great photo though.
  • +2 Jean-Éric Vergne: Getting a bit cheeky with David Coulthard's wife on the flight to Malaysia.
  • +1 Daniel Ricciardo: Planning some hijinks on the flight to Malaysia, with Coulthard and Vergne on board.
  • +1 Daniel Ricciardo: Just about manages to pull off the suit look.
  • +1 Esteban Gutiérrez: Playing footie and hanging out with the kids at a Chelsea event.
  • +1 Pastor Maldonado: Apparently, this is a traditional tea ceremony, but if that is hot water, it looks a bit dangerous to me! No wonder everyone is leaning back!
  • +2 Esteban Gutiérrez: I enjoyed Esteban breaking the rules of the X Factor segment on the Sauber Malaysia preview. I assume they are meant to pick a specific bit.
  • +2 Giedo van der Garde: As established, I'm not a fan of endlessly changing helmets, but a bit of tyre humour thrown in always helps.
  • +2 Romain Grosjean: So much sleepy!
  • -2 Valtteri Bottas: I don't care how much you want to prepare for extreme temperatures, running in -10 is never okay!
  • +4 Nico Hülkenberg: For looking after Johnny Herbert during a particularly warm interview in Malaysia.
  • -5 Kimi Räikkönen: I was verging on many positive points for this video of Kimi not teaching Natalie Pinkham to drive on ice. Then he made the quip about women in cars and ruined it.
  • +3 Lewis Hamilton: Taking the whole "wrong pit box" situation in his stride. I think I would have been so embarrassed, I'd have never taken my helmet off again.
