Monaco 2012 - Driver standings - Fernando Alonso takes control of the championship after third place finish

Fernando Alonso has moved ahead of the two Red Bull drivers by three points, leaving Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber on equal points. Behind them, the battle remains close, with Hamilton, Rosberg and Räikkönen all remaining in contention. The Monaco GP also saw a good points haul for Felipe Massa, who moved from 17th to 14th place, and reached double figures.
