A difficult afternoon at Sepang began with a damp track that gradually dried. No further rain intervened, so once the dry tyres were on, it was strategy all the way with a mixture of three and four pit stops throughout the field. There were plenty of retirements, and some great wheel to wheel action up front, a little bit of everything for the Malaysian fans in the grandstands.
