The rain hit midway through Q2 which ended that session early but made the final top ten shootout something to behold. With the green intermediate tyres bolted on, the Red Bull drivers pushed for pole position and Vettel got it. The Ferrari duo were next, with Massa out in front of Alonso for the second time this year.
