Malaysia 2012 - Qualifying results // Lewis Hamilton takes second pole position in a row

Published by Christine

All 24 drivers battled for grid position in the sweltering heat at Sepang, with all 24 qualifying for the race. HRT managed to secure a time good enough to allow entry to the race, although only just. Felipe Massa struggled with his Ferrari throughout the session, and dropped out relatively early. Sebastian Vettel opted for the hard tyre, whilst all others around him chose the mediums. Mercedes and McLaren battled their way to the front but it was a McLaren 1-2 for the second race in a row.
