Malaysia 2011 - Free Practice 2 results - Red Bull and McLaren continue to fight for the top of the times

Published by Christine

The second practice session of the day was a lot calmer than the first, with Mark Webber retaining his grip on the top of the timesheets. The top four were incredibly close though, with Red Bull and McLaren battling for supremacy. Further back, Pastor Maldonado finished the day mid-field, after spinning off track and crashing into the barriers. D'Ambrosio took no part in the session after his accident earlier, and finally, in HRT watch, they completed 29 laps between them, although Liuzzi did cause an engine-related yellow flag.
