Malaysia 2011 - Free Practice 1 results - Red Bull top the times as Mark Webber leads Lewis Hamilton

Published by Christine

Red Bull kept up the pace for the opening session of the Malaysia weekend, with Mark Webber finally getting one up on his teammate. It was a chaotic practice, with both Vitaly Petrov in the Renault, and Jérôme D'Ambrosio in the Virgin suffering from some high speed accidents, and a unpredictable rate of tyre wear causing confusion up and down the pitlane. Meanwhile, both HRT cars made it out of the garage, and completed 30 laps between them.
