Ahead of the first race of the Formula 1 season, Heikki Kovalainen has revealed what must be a contender for the title of best F1 helmet design, ever.

Clearly not content with making a trip into space earlier this week, Angry Birds have now invaded F1.

Heikki collaborated with entertainment company Rovio to create this stunning design, and the partnership extends to incorporate original merchandise and an accompanying Angry Birds racing themed web game.

The man signed up with marketing company IMG Worldwide back in February and this would appear to be working out well for both parties. Heikki himself couldn't be happier:

It's the first time that I've partnered with a gaming company, and it fits with my larger focus on partnering with unique brands. As a Finn, I'm also happy to be backing a Finnish company on a global platform. Most importantly, I'm a big Angry Birds fan!
