Korea 2011 - Free Practice 1 results // The wet weather descended over the track on Friday

Published by Christine

Korea held up to its fine tradition of introducing some really wet weather conditions to proceedings, and the first practice session of the weekend was heavily affected. For the first hour, there was very little running to speak of, with just the occasional installation lap from a few brave drivers. Into the final ten minutes, there were several attempts - some came off with a good lap time, some found themselves slipping off track. It was Michael Schumacher who took the fastest time when the clock finally hit zero.
