Japan 2012 - Rate the race - Tell us how you think the racing at Suzuka delivered

Published by Christine

The weather was dry, but that didn't stop there being a first lap incident that took out Fernando Alonso at the first corner. Sebastian Vettel capitalised on the chaos to take victory, but the shortened DRS zone quashed what little overtaking there could have been. With all that in mind, how do you think the race in Japan compared to the rest of the season?

The Safety Car made a brief appearance early on in the race, thanks to Romain Grosjean causing first lap collisions... again. The stewards were on it, though, and didn't let the Lotus driver get away with anything.
