A super soaking third practice session on Saturday morning in Suzuka saw just two cars set a timed lap during the 60 minute session. Conditions were so bad most of the field only managed a sighter lap before hiding out in their respective garages until the time ticked down to zero.
Toro Rosso provided the bulk of the mornings entertainment offering fans a 1-2 practice start on the grid after being shown the chequered flag. Nobody ended up in the barriers, but nobody learnt much either.
