Italy 2012 - Qualifying results // McLaren dominate close qualifying around super fast Monza circuit

Published by Christine

Nico Hülkenberg was the early casualty of qualifying, dropping out in the first session and allowing Jean-Éric Vergne through for the second weekend in a row. McLaren were dominant, but it was Felipe Massa who was the centre of attention - qualifying ahead of his teammate for the first time this season, third to Alonso's tenth place.
