It's been a week of surprises for the Formula One world, with Nico Rosberg announcing a shock retirement that seemingly came out of nowhere. Speculation is now rife on his replacement, but in the meantime the other drivers are busy winding down for the off-season. Button is looking for his new career, which may or may not involve being a doctor of some sort, whilst Jolyon Palmer displays some surprising quiz knowledge.

You may have noticed this was supposed to be the final week of the Christine's Rankings competition this year, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we're extending it by another seven days to give everyone that little bit more time to impress!

Movements for Week 38

  • +1 Jolyon Palmer: Indulging in a pretty lengthy Twitter Q&A, no doubt celebrating having some time off post-season!
  • +2 Nico Rosberg: So good to see some sheer joy for winning the championship, it radiates out of his face!
  • +4 Jolyon Palmer: Incredible performance on his Grill the Grid, such knowledge!
  • +2 Jenson Button: One of the best humble brags I've ever seen. "Hmm, even my million pound car needs defrosting!"
  • +4 Nico Rosberg: Following his heart and retiring from F1, at the top of his game, rather than sticking around endlessly! Good job Nico!
  • +4 Daniel Ricciardo: Nice little post-FIA gala video, paying tribute to Nico Rosberg's decision to quit, and of course cheekily questioning whether his teammate deserves his awards or if there's something else going on!
  • +2 Max Verstappen: Great video of a factory visit with Daniel, rocking the Christmas bells!
  • +2 Daniel Ricciardo: Great video of a factory visit with Max, bless him being too cold outside.
  • +1 Nico Rosberg: Great picture of what it's like to travel with a trophy of that size.
  • +2 Romain Grosjean: Points for optimism, celebrating the return of the French Grand Prix by hoping to hear the national anthem before and after the event!
