Hungary 2012 - Race results - Hamilton turns pole position into convincing Grand Prix victory

Published by Christine

A relatively mundane race at the Hungaroring allowed Lewis Hamilton to secure his second victory of the 2012 season. The main challenges came from the Lotus drivers, with Kimi Räikkönen able to get ahead of teammate Romain Grosjean, but both finishing on the podium. Further down the order, Michael Schumacher got off to a bad start, had a drive through penalty and then retired from the race.
