Published by Christine

Lewis Hamilton secured pole position in a close and tense qualifying that saw some changes to the established order of things. Jean-Éric Vergne made it into the second session, and Bruno Senna made it into the third. However, Mark Webber and Michael Schumacher both failed to make it into the top ten - bookending the second session drop-zone. Romain Grosjean qualified second, with teammate Räikkönen on form in fifth as well.
