Hungary 2011 - Rate the race - Make your voice known on the F1 action at the Hungaroring

Published by Christine

The Hungarian Grand Prix had a little bit of everything - there were some strong overtaking moves, some DRS assisted changes, a fire, mammoth amounts of pitstops, lead changes - including Michael Schumacher at one point - and now it's time to rate it. Jenson Button took the victory in conditions that suit him, and make life hard for everyone else, but it all came down to strategy calls in the end. Who will be your driver of the day?

Driver of the day

Toro Rosso had another driver start way down the order and haul his way into the points, in the form of Sébastien Buemi. The team got both drivers into the points, so that's impressive from them. Paul di Resta had a good race, avoiding a stricken Lewis Hamilton at one point as well. Jenson Button took the win, and was joined on the podium by Vettel and Alonso.

So, who deserves driver of the day?
