Hungary 2011 - Qualifying results - Penalties hit the grid, but it was Vettel on top yet again

Published by Christine

It was Sebastian Vettel on top form again this afternoon, keeping Red Bull's record of every pole position so far this year. Mark Webber struggled compared to his teammate, but so did Fernando Alonso, who was outqualified by Massa for the first time in 2011. Further back, Sébastien Buemi qualified in 18th but faces a five place grid penalty. Throughout the field there were drivers saving tyres and not running, and plenty of strategic thinking.
