It's all change at the Hispania Racing Team for next weekend's German Grand Prix, as the team replace Karun Chandhok with Sakon Yamamoto. Bruno Senna returns to his seat after being pulled from the British Grand Prix at the eleventh hour.

Speculation had been rife within some circles, as to the reasons behind the team dropping Bruno for a race. It now looks like the policy of driver rotation is set to continue, at least for the time being. The team, who have been facing financial difficulties or late confirmed the move in a press release today:

After Sakon Yamamoto gave a very positive performance in Silverstone, the team has decided to give the Japanese driver another opportunity to drive the car alongside Bruno Senna. Karun Chandhok is still part of the Hispania Racing, HRT F1 Team family and is likely to be in the car at some later races this season.

The switch is all the more surprising given that Yamamoto was the slowest qualifier and finished behind teammate Chandhok at last weekends Grand Prix.

There has been no word on the matter from Karun, however previously benched driver Bruno Senna said of his return to the cockpit:

I am looking forward to the race in Hockenheim as I have had a podium finish in GP2 in 2008 and I really like this track

It looks like a bumpy second half of the season lies in store for the struggling Spanish outfit.
