The summer break has been a relatively quiet period for Formula One fans, but if you're in the hunt for something to listen to so as to break the monotony before the Belgian Grand Prix, then look no further.

We were honoured to be asked as guests on the Superlicense F1 podcast to talk about all things 2017 and beyond, with the super lovely Rodney and Zach.

We've recorded shows with lots of people over Sidepodcast's history, but I'm not sure we've been guests on another podcast before, so it was an unusual, yet also familiar, half an hour of chatter.

It took a little bit of timezone wrangling to get us all on the same page at the same time, but the discussion was brilliant and it was nice to bounce ideas off fellow F1 fans and podcasters.

We discussed the hallowed return of Robert Kubica, the great variety of opinions surrounding new cockpit protection, and of course, how the fight for the title is unfolding this season. We also managed to chat about which teams are developing well, and who might win the race of the factory by the end of the season, and the boys even managed to get a far out prediction from me.
