Red Bulls back the pack up again, Vettel likes a slow formation lap - two races in a row.
Red Bull's side by side into the first corner, Webber into the lead. Vettel flies off track, falls to the back of the pack.
Alonso had a terrible start too, down in sixth.
Vettel has a right rear puncture.
Hamilton chasing Webber for the lead, with Kubica a little further back in third.
Massa pits with a right rear puncture as well.
Vettel finally makes it back to the pit lane.

It looks as though Vettel's puncture came from the rumble strips, whilst Massa's was from the two Ferraris coming together.
Kubica has dropped back 4.2 seconds behind Hamilton, who himself is 1.4 behind Webber.
Liuzzi started 20th after his five place penalty, and is up to 18th but stuck behind Kovalainen.
Button has improved to 8th and sits behind Schumacher.
Vettel told on the radio he's going to the end of the race and doesn't need to come in again.

Schumacher has pitted and returns to the track in 15th.

Lap 12. Alonso and Barrichello both pit, as Kobayashi.
All three are good clean stops.
Kobayashi pitted a lap later and came out in front of Schumacher.

Hamilton pits from second and returns to the track in the exact same position. Button just behind in third but has yet to stop.
Buemi pits, whilst Massa runs very wide at Aintree and kicks up dust.
Alonso and Kubica battling for track position - the Ferrari gets in front but only by cutting the corner.
Webber pits from the lead, and retains P1.
Kubica radio confirms Renault are speaking to Charlie about the Alonso incident.
Rosberg overtakes Jaime Alguersuari, who is in front of him having not stopped yet.

Kubica starts going slowly, and heads into the pitlane.
20 laps in, and Kubica has been pulled into the garage, out of the race.
We won't find out what Charlie would have ruled for Alonso now.

Button returns to the track behind Alonso and in front of Alguersuari - 6th at the moment.
Kovalainen pits.
According to 5live, Alonso would have been asked to move back behind Kubica, so Ferrari got a bit lucky there.
Lap 23 and Chandhok also pits. He and Yamamoto are propping up the back of the grid, with Vettel just in front of them.
Glock has pitted from 19th place.

Ted Kravitz reports a bargeboard came off Rosberg's car after a bump with Alguersuari.
Race Control confirm incident between cars 8 and 11 to be investigated. That's Kubica and Alonso.
Lap 26 and Trulli pits. Just Hulkenberg, Liuzzi and Alguersuari yet to stop.
Heikki's troublesome stop.
Alonso handed a drive through penalty for cutting the corner.
Lap 27 and Hulkenberg finally pits.
The Safety car has been called for debris on track.
The debris is from Pedro de la Rosa's rear wing which just fell to pieces. The Sauber has no pitted twice.
Safety Car waited before coming out to pick up Webber.
Alguersuari has pitted and is now falling down the order as the safety car train passes.
Alonso has not yet served his penalty, and will have to wait for the Safety Car to come back in.

Apart from Alonso, who will fall way down the order when he takes his penalty. The safety car is in this lap - lap 29.
De la Rosa has pitted again.
The Sauber is in the garage and they are working on the rear wing.
Alonso pits straight away on the restart for his penalty. Webber leads Hamilton away.

Lap 31 and Webber sets the fastest lap of the race so far, a 1:34.555.
Alonso returned to the track down in 16th place, two places behind Vettel, and three behind teammate Massa.
Sutil passes Schumacher for 7th place - a little bit of contact on the way round.
Vettel has passed Massa for 12th place.
Alonso asks for no more radio for the rest of the race.

Button is chasing Rosberg for third place, and is roughly 0.8 seconds behind him.
Vettel appears to have really woken up now - he overtook Alguersuari for 11th, and is chasing Petrov to get into the points.
Lap 36 and Alonso attempts to pass Liuzzi but couldn't make it stick.

Petrov ran wide, kicked up a lot of dust, and handed the place for Vettel. The Red Bull charged past Hulkenberg as well.
Schumacher is his next target for 8th place.

Massa has pitted from 16th, the crew didn't appear to be ready. The tyres are changed and it's a slow stop.
Replays show he spun it at Stowe and ran wide, ruining his tyres, hence the unexpected stop.
Vettel passes Schumacher in style. Sutil is next.
Petrov pits from 15th, his crew are ready, and he's out again.
Lap 41 and Webber and Hamilton lead with Rosberg 14 seconds down the road for third.
Hamilton has taken the fastest lap from Webber on Lap 42 - a 1:32.793.
And then Webber took it right back with a 1:32.655.

Yellow flags for Alguersuari, who is stuck in the gravel at Luffield.
Just six laps to go and we have four retirees - Alguersuari, de la Rosa, Kubica and di Grassi.
Ted Kravitz reports that Button can't chase down Rosberg as he's had to turn his engine down due to fuel concerns.
The yellow flags are clear now. It's all go on Lap 48.

Vettel struggling to get past Sutil, and they come upon backmarkers which allows Schumi to catch up.

Vettel runs wide which gives Sutil some breathing space.

On the final lap, Vettel barges past Sutil, and Schumacher also makes it past as well, but not quite.
Mark Webber wins the British Grand Prix! Hamilton finishes second at his home race, and Rosberg takes the last podium place.
Alonso takes the fastest lap of the race on lap 51 with a 1:31.044.
