A much poorer session for the Brawn team with Jenson Button back in 11th. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton made it work to him ahead of Fernando Alonso, and Felipe Massa. As per usual, the Toro Rosso team brought up the rear of the field, struggling for pace early on Saturday.
