Published by Christine

Fernando Alonso closed the gap to pacesetter Vettel in final practice, with the Ferrari driver splitting the two Red Bulls at the top of the timesheets. Paul di Resta had an off at the Parabolica, with the car coming to rest at the barriers. The marshals were quick to recover the Force India without the need for red flags though. Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo picked up the pace finishing sixth overall.
