Saturday dawned with the wind posing more of a problem than on Friday, and rain lingering in the air. The session was mostly dry, however, with Lewis Hamilton leading the way.
Towards the rear of the pack, Esteban Gutiérrez and Valtteri Bottas both managed a couple of installation laps before gearbox problems hampered their cars. The inevitable component change meant they both pick up five place penalties for the Grand Prix, too.
