Free Practice 2 results - Germany 2013 - Vettel ekes out the fastest time in front of the home crowds

Lewis Hamilton wasn't so near the top for second practice, eventually posting the eighth fastest time. Nico Rosberg managed second but it was Sebastian Vettel who reached the top spot, just two tenths up on his fellow German. Adrian Sutil showed some great skills or luck as he ran massively wide, through the gravel, kept his foot in, and managed to jink back on to track just in time to miss a board marker. Also, Jules Bianchi ran just ten laps in the afternoon, he's suffering from a stomach bug. Marussia ran Rodolfo González in FP1, in case he's required this weekend.
