Free Practice 1 results - Japan 2013 // Mercedes top the times as Jules Bianchi crashes out

Published by Christine

With a great turnout of fans cheering along, the drivers took to the Suzuka circuit for first practice ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix this weekend. Half an hour in, Jules Bianchi got on the kerbs and smashed his Marussia into the wall. Giedo van der Garde also went off at the same place but managed to avoid the barriers. Pastor Maldonado ran wide, and found his left rear wheel just came off. After all that, it was Hamilton, Rosberg and Vettel ahead.
