The Sauber F1 team set up their first Pinterest board this week taking the total number of official race teams pinning content to five.

Although all teams can be found on networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, Pinterest has largely been overlooked. Lotus had been making the most use of the service, providing extensive behind-the-scenes coverage of the 2013 campaign.

For those new to the concept, Pinterest describes itself as a visual discovery tool you can use to find ideas for all your projects and interests. Teams are using it in a variety of ways, Williams organise content by race weekend, while Force India use it to provide a regular stream of updates. For fans, it provides a great way to collate, organise and share images and links from all over the web.

You can follow all content shared by a team or specific boards of interest. Select any team name below to create a free account and start your collection.

There are more than just teams using Pinterest, both Renault Sport F1 and Infiniti GP are actively promoting the sport via the service.

At Sidepodcast we've recently started using it more extensively, and have found it super-handy for organising content, it is especially useful for sharing audio clips and other stories that might get buried quickly during a busy race weekend. Be sure to follow Sidepodcast boards on Pinterest too!

There are probably more cool accounts that we've overlooked, let us know in the comments who you're following or if you have your own account we should be tracking too.
