The first race of the year has been and gone and I've got a massive crop of points to hand out this week. With drivers and teams doing their best to impress on the track in Melbourne, I've looked at some of the other things they've been doing, and assessed them on that instead.

We have three additional drivers as well, with Friday practice seeing some new names - Daniel Ricciardo, Nico Hülkenberg and Karun Chandhok. From cake and pie, to crazy fans and sleeping with trophies, there's a little bit of everything in this week's Christine's Rankings.

Movements for Week 8

• +5 Lewis Hamilton: +5 for this bad guy video. +1 for changing his Twitter account to a sensible one. -1 for being less enthusiastic post-race.
• +4 Timo Glock: +1 for tweeting Paul di Resta after the race, and Hamilton as well. +3 for tweeting about his crazy fan!
• +5 Paul di Resta: +4 for making a great impression at his first race. +1 for walking miles post-race trying to find the BBC Forum.
• +2 Sebastian Vettel: +2 for throwing cake in David Coulthard's face.
• +5 Sergio Pérez: +2 for making a sweet little pairing with Kobayashi. +3 for doing a great job with his one-stop strategy!
• +2 Kamui Kobayashi: +2 for making a sweet little pairing with Pérez.
• +4 Vitaly Petrov: +4 for clutching his trophy and planning to sleep with it!
• +2 Jarno Trulli: -2 for whining about the tyres even though he can't actually make up his mind about them. +4 for sporting a great helmet design.
• +1 Karun Chandhok: -1 for messing up on his very first lap for Lotus but +2 for manning up.
• +2 Mark Webber: +4 for a great demo in Australia but -2 for having to do it slowly.
• +3 Jenson Button: +3 for a great trackwalk with DC, and particularly for calling Vettel a Formula 3 driver.
